Sebago Lake Attractions
Around the Sebago Lake area there is not much shopping or other attractions for the visitors to enjoy. In order to get to some of the big attractions a person must travel outside of the area.
One of the major attractions in the surrounding area is the amusement parks. The biggest amusement park is Funtown Splashtown U.S.A. Funtown is a small scale amusement park, which has an assortment of rides and games for all ages. It just recently constructed a new roller-coaster ride in the park and also added to the water park. Funtown has continued to grow in size as more area and money has been acquired by the park. A combination pass, which means a guest is allowed in either park is roughly $30 for the whole day. This makes it very inexpensive for the whole family to have a fun time while visiting the area.

If amusement parks are not your cup of tea, there is always the shopping, which is located further north. L.L.Bean makes up for most of the shopping in the northern part of the area surrounding the lake. L.L.Bean was originally started in Freeport, Maine, which makes it a huge part of the shopping and also the other stores surrounding L.L.Bean are no less in value. All the stores in Freeport, Maine are higher end stores that allow people to buy products they like and that are sometimes hard to find in rural areas.
If neither of these two activities are what you are looking for, there are many other attractions like the movie theaters and bowling, which is the usual activities for a day that you are just looking to relax on. The attractions for bowling and the movies are all around the area and are also easy to find based on any directory or GPS system that might be around you. If the day of boredom is not solved by any of this, try some boating activities that can be found anywhere on the lake or also at the place you might be staying. The boating activities are a great way to get a good amount of exercise and relaxation on the vacation you wanted. The attractions in the Sebago lake region may seem to be scarce, but with a little travel and a little searching, an item on the agenda is not far from being found.
