Visitors to the Lake of the Ozarks have a vast selection of accommodation to choose from. Whether you want the comfort of a plush lake resort, or a rental condominium, campsite, or houseboat, there is something to suit every taste and budget.
Amongst all of the obvious sporting attractions, visitors can also shop to their hearts content. The resort offers stores galore from massive retailers in the large outlet-mall, to small designer boutiques. There is a huge selection of shopping opportunities, not to mention the numerous craft fairs and festivals that are held throughout the year.
If you get tired of shopping, there are plenty of other activities to keep you occupied. Families will enjoy the two water parks, the Orion Science Center and Dino Space Adventure, plus the many amusement arcades.
Ozark Caverns is another popular attraction with visitors. There are regular guided tours through the amazingly beautiful caverns. Back up above ground, there is a huge selection of trails for visitors to explore, whether by foot, bicycle, or even horseback.
For those visitors in need of some serious relaxation, the Spa Shiki offers a range of treatments and is considered one of the best spas in the United States.
Fishing is of course a very popular pastime at Lake of the Ozarks. The lake is full of a huge variety of fish species and you are guaranteed to catch something. Anglers come from miles around to fish on the lake and the fishing is fantastic all year round. Boat rentals are also very popular with visitors and are an ideal way to explore the vast lake, whilst taking the opportunity to do a spot of fishing.
