Lake Havasu London Bridge
Lake Havasu has been worldwide known for its London Bridge. The London Bridge originally from London was purchased and rebuilt in Lake Havasu City. It is now one of the most famous tourist attractions in Lake Havasu. Also the London Bridge has also been known as the world’s oldest antique. This is a great attraction of Lake Havasu City!
There is a big history to the London Bridge. As I said earlier the London Bridge was originally built in London. Travel started to get very heavy on the bridge, causing it to sink. The bridge was then put up for auction. The founder of Lake Havasu City Robert McCulloch was the last to bid on the bridge for about 2 million dollars. The last thing that needed to be done was to move the bridge. The bridge was finally completed in Lake Havasu City in October 10, 1971.
The London Bridge is beautiful I would recommend for you to go see it. Even though you can’t do anything besides walk on the bridge and admire its design it is good for traveling. The London Bridge is mostly used for tourists to travel to the English Village. Also recently the town has asked for 250,000 for maintenance of the bridge.
